2025–2026 IMPACT REPORT
A Year of Impact
This year, Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore continued to create meaningful connections between students, schools, volunteers, and our business community.
Our 2025–2026 Impact Report highlights the students we reached, the partners who made it possible, and the experiences that helped young people build the skills and confidence they need for what comes next.
We’re proud to share the impact we created together - and grateful to everyone who continues to invest in the future of Eastern Shore students.

OUR MISSION
Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy!
What is Junior Achievement?
Junior Achievement is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA's programs in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.
What is unique about Junior Achievement?
Junior Achievement embraces immersive, creative learning styles. At Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore we partner with valued, local businesses to bring real-world learning to life in our JA Center City. We are proud to offer one of a kind hands-on learning experiences in a custom space built for success!
PERDUE HENSON JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT CENTER
An epicenter of hands-on, experiential learning for Eastern Shore students and our local community.

“My favorite part of the day was interacting with students and talking to them about their dreams and future goals while trying to guide them through the budgeting and spending process. Educating them on the reality of their career and life decisions and financial impacts.”

"Watching the students confidence blossom from some anxiety and discomfort with the activity to accomplishing each step. Each student had a realization of how capable they are and succeeding at their tasks.”

“I enjoyed seeing the “ah-ha” moment on some kid’s faces when I explained something to them they had never considered or thought about before. In those moments, you knew you were making just a small impact.”
